ODFW will host an in person and online public meeting on Tuesday, February 7 at 6:00 p.m. to get input on the number and timing of the central Oregon coast spring all-depth halibut season fixed and back-up dates. For those of you able to attend the meeting in person, the meeting will take place at the ODFW Marine Resources Program Conference Room, 2040 SE Marine Science Dr., Newport. Information on how to connect to the meeting online is below. Background materials and an online survey for the meeting are now posted on the ODFW Sport Halibut Webpage. The online survey (click here) is available for those who may not be able to attend the meeting but wish to provide input for the 2023 halibut season. The survey will remain available through Friday, Feb 10. If you cannot join the meeting, you may also provide input by contacting Lynn Mattes ([email protected]) or Christian Heath ([email protected]) at the ODFW Marine Resources Program, (541) 867-4741.
