The Portland area will see clouds and mild temperatures from 48 to 56 degrees for most of the week.

But Wednesday promises a burst of sunshine and a high near 61 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

That’s quite a reversal from Saturday, when a dusting of snow fell from Happy Valley to Tigard to Beaverton.

Sunday’s high will reach 48 degrees and the forecast calls for showers. Monday and Tuesday will be cloudy with a high near 55 degrees, according to the weather service.

Then comes Wednesday’s break.

The clouds return Thursday and Friday when temperatures will hover in the mid-50s.
